"The Algernon Effect" Makes Stoker Preliminary Ballot
We are both pleased and proud that Gene O'Neill's chapbook story received enough HWA member recommendations to be included in the Bram Stoker Award preliminary Ballot for Short Fiction. We hope this will be just the first step toward nomination to the Final Ballot for this coveted award.
Anyone who was not able to read Gene's story in chapbook form, can either read or download a PDF version HERE. Voting members of the HWA are invited to read "The Algernon Effect" here for consideration. Congratulations to Gene!
